A selection of some of our 2011 weddings
It has been a busy week at Rebate this week, we have had two weddings, Corraine and Kevin Lamb on 25th October and Emily Butler and Chris Jordan on 28th October.
But our first was Corraine and Kevin.
It had rained on 24th October 2011 and the forecast for 25th October was also rain, and the wedding team were so nervous that the weather would dictate the days play.
However the sun shone from early morning to late evening for the very special day of Kevin and Corraine Lamb, who celebrated in style their Sliver wedding anniversary. Where they renewed their wedding vows, the same time and day as 25 years earlier in our cute little white chapel.
They had over 75 guests come to Rebate and celebrate with them.
Gosh it was a beautiful day, and there was not a dry eye in the church, where are minister, performed a very moving ceremony.
Both sets of parents of Kevin and Corraine also attended, along with their own grandchildren. It was a very very special day.
Corraine looked glamorous and extremely beautiful in a soft flowing cream long cream dress. Her bridesmaids, one of which was her daughter, wore water melon coloured dresses, again in soft tulle and they were flowing gowns.
When the church bell tolled the guests left the church, and the sun was high in the sky, the canapés and drinks were served under the trees.
The dining room was dressed in white napery, and each chair had large tulle side swags , and the tables were adorned with flowers, in apricots and water melon shades. The look was extremely elegant.
The couple opted for a tower of cupcakes, each had a K or C on the top.
Corraine and Kevin, you have been a very special couple and we are so very pleased that you were all thrilled with your day here in Rebate.
Please come again and visit us and your lovely family.
Much love and happiness from the wedding team here in Rebate. Dawne, Bob, Sandra, Carole, Pco, Pepi, Andreas, Andrew, and Eddie the minister.

Hot Hot and even hotter, the day was glorious but the heat was immense, on 20th August 2011
Our fabulous couple James and Donna Burns from Liverpool married at 4.00pm in our little “Mamma Mia” style chapel.

What a glamour occasion it was, there was a host of bride maids 7 in total, the older maids wore Grecian style grey tulle gowns, which were so very elegant, the little maids wore soft flowing white orangsa dresses, and they wore fresh hair circlets, made by our wedding florist here at Rebate.
Donna our beautiful bride wore a pure white taffeta gown, which has a beautiful fishtail train. Her hair was coiffured into a stylist chignon and she wore a beautiful diamante jewel in her hair. The groom wore a pale blue suit and looked dashing.
All the bridesmaids carried white Avalanche roses, some had wrist corsages other had hand ties.
The church was decked out with roses, lilies and orchids, and looked a spectacle.
Canapés and cava were served to guests under the canopy of the trees next to the church after the wedding service, and the very popular La Tuna group serenaded the couple and their guests.
At 6pm the guests moved up into the top dining room, to commence the wedding meal. The dining room looked stunning, with white napery, white crystals, silver organza chair swags and towering vases filled with roses, orchids and lilies.

It was an amazing warm evening, when our lovely couple from Scotland Gillian & Gary, took their wedding vows, up on the top terrace of our gardens.
The evening was still and the rippling of the water from our fountain, was the only sound that could be heard, as our lovely couple exchange special meaningful messages of love to each other during their wedding ceremony.
Their family had travelled from all over the world to be with them at Rebate.
Our celebrant Malcolm, conducted a very special service, where the couple mixed wines and drank from the same glass to seal their vows and love for each other.
Our bride wore the most beautiful champagne coloured dress, which was encrusted with diamantes, here hair was tousled up into a soft French bun, and she wore fresh dusky orchids in her hair. She carried orchids with diamantes threaded through the bouquet. She looked absolutely fabulous
Gary our groom, opted for white linen trousers, and a summer jacket in navy, he looked handsome.
The terrace was decked with pedestals of lilies and roses, all the guests had fans as a gift from the happy couple.
The dining room, was dressed with tall elegant vases again filled with cream roses and lilies, and it looked a spectacular, each chair had swags of cream tulle finished with a dusky pink ribbon.
The bridal party dined on an extensive menu. And then proceeded to dance the night away on the top terrace, where the Moroccan lanterns were lit at twilight.
We hope that Gillian and Gary and the crazy gang from Scotland, enjoyed their ceremony and wedding party here at Rebate.

22nd July 2011 6.00pm was the time and date for the wedding of Andrew & Daniella.
Andrew a cattle farmer from Gloucestershire and his lovely bride Daniella, who is an artist in stain glass, married at our little chapel in Rebate.
Their gorgeous daughter Quinny was their little bridemaid.
The colour scheme for the wedding was the rainbow tones . Our floral team here at Rebate used every colour in the bridal party flowers, the church & the dining tables.
It was another glorious day, which is to be expected in the middle of July, but the couple were sensible and married at 6.00pm letting the heat of the day, die away a little.
The church was decked in pink, purples, oranges, green, yellow, red, gold to name a few colours. The pedestals either side of the altar were spectacular, and so were the coloured tulle bows up the aisle.
Our lovely bride wore a cream dress with lace shoulders, she wore a soft pink rose in her hair and look truly pretty.
Our handsome groom, wore a dark cream linen suit. They made a handsome couple.
The belled tolled at 6.45pm when the couple left the chapel after the wedding service which was conducted by our Church of England vicar.
The guests were handed cones of fresh rose petals confetti.
Everyone toasted the couple with cava, which was served under the trees next to the church, along with tasty canapés.
The couple opted to dine on the public terrace, where they said they had spent many wonderful evenings over the last few year. So the wedding team made a special area for the wedding party.
The tables were finished with multi coloured chair swags, and the floral centerpieces were all shades of colours, finished with butterflies with filigree wings.
Enchanting.
Andrew and Daniella, you have been a dream to work with, and you and your family made the 22nd July very special for the wedding team here in Rebate.

But we have to keep moving on
But you are keeping us busy.
7th July 2011 was glorious and wow was it hot hot hot!!.
Willy our piper look magnificent, decked out in kilt, jacket and bagpipes in red and navy.
He piped our stunning bride Kerri into the church.
The sound of the piper was enthralling in the still of the afternoon heat, here in Rebate and quite haunting and special.
The theme of the wedding was deep red with soft cream.
Kerri had a very soft tulle wedding gown again encrusted with jewels, which this year is the most popular style dress. Her hair was coiffured into a soft curled bun, with diamantes threaded through the curls. She decided not to wear a veil, which was a good decision as the heat was so intense
She looked very special and extremely radiant.
Our groom Ian and his best man, wore the traditional kilt, (commando!!) and we will told it was very cooling on the legs and upper thighs!!
Willy our piper played some very haunting and moving tunes on the Scottish pipes throughout the canapés and cava, which were served by our staff here at Rebate under the canopy of the trees
The happy and delighted couple moved up into the top dining room.
After their wedding reception, our resident guitarist, strummed softly on the guitar, and the guests sat until the sunset and the evening fell.
Thanks you Ian and Kerri, another fabulous couple, you have been a pleasure, and we all would like to wish you a very happy honeymoon.
Please drop by and see us all again.
